SMART KIDZ Summer workshop 2010, on personality development, grooming and etiquettes was an innovative venture by Swashrit Society. This endeavor of Swashrit Society had been supported by Snowleopard Adventures Ltd, Lighthouse and Lammergeier.

A well balanced education includes more than just the basic “Core” subjects, such as reading and math. It includes social skills – the knowledge and practice of appropriate conduct, manners, and group interaction. Smart kidz workshops was the medium to inculcate basic moral values, enhance the personal strengths, teaching the art of being polite, improving verbal and non verbal skills, building self confidence, dealing with peer pressure, understanding family values and teaching basic table etiquettes.

Smart kidz was headed by a team of experts in child and educational psychology, life style management and holistic development at South Delhi center, M- 65, GK 1.

The Smart Kidz endeavor of Swashrit Society conducted its media launch on the 15th May’10, Saturday at one of its literacy centre for the underprivileged children in Bapa Nagar area (near Karol Bagh), with the gracious presence of Master Akshat Chopra, Slumdog Millionaire and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic Boy, child celebrity. He is Swashrit’s brand ambassador for Smart kidz 2010 and launched the Smart Kidz venture and interacted with underprivileged children.

Smart kidz summer workshop 2010 touched the life of 30 children. This year there were two Smart kidz workshops, comprising of five days each. After each workshop feedback was given the children’s parents. The assessment was done on child’s enthusiasm, creativity, confidence, concentration, attitude and interaction with the peers in the group and the trainer.

Smart kidz 2010 was successful in bringing change and in enhancing the overall personality of each individual who participated in the workshop.
